Prediction of soil Liquefaction Potential is a very important but complex engineering problem because of the heterogeneous nature of soils and the involvement of many varieties of factors. Furthermore, Liquefaction Hazard specification is so important as well, due to its usage in Multi-Hazard or Multi-Risk studies. Therefore one of the main goals of this study was considered as "Liquefaction Hazard Microzonation" in DMR as a part of the Development of Risk Sensitive Land Use Planning Practice in Greater Dhaka (S-5).
